PCM NBA Draft 2008 Review

· Ranked based on PCM Total Rookie Production, which can be used as one measure for NBA Rookie of the Year Award. For the nature of this analysis, PCM Total is not the focus since most rookies do not get comparable minutes as their most recent NCAA season, and the disparity in number of games in a NBA season.

· PCM Per Minute is the focal point of the analysis. Variance Per Minute shows whether the player has met expectations, with a decrease of “.20” or more indicating insufficient role, poor fit, or injury. Do note there are situations where a player's college PCM Per Minute numbers can not realistically be reached on a NBA Level (e.g. ".50" puts a player in the NBA Top 30 players ranking).

· PCM Per Game shows which rookies received significant playing time and whether the player maintained his production efficiency with increased minutes.
